What Is a Paralegal?
A Paralegal is a person with legal education or experience that is
not a lawyer nor a member of the
Law Society of Alberta. Paralegals act as court agents as permitted
under certain acts and regulations.
In addition, paralegals are able to prepare documents on behalf of
clients who need assistance,
as long as the paralegal does not provide any legal advice. Our
company can assist you in the
following areas:
-
Traffic Tickets
-
Uncontested Divorces
-
Small Claims (up to $25,000)
-
Landlord and Tenant Matters
-
Pardons and US Travel Waivers
-
Incorporations and other corporate matters
We bring you over ten years of experience in the legal industry
including several years of law office
experience working as the main assistant to a (now retired) lawyer.
In addition we have people in our
office who are current law students and bring specialized legal
education to you at a price that is much
more affordable than fees normally charged by Alberta lawyers.
We offer a free telephone consultation to all potential clients to
determine if our services are suitable
for your specific situation and if our prices will benefit you. You
can reach by calling (403) 526-3001.
We can assist you in most Southern Alberta Courts including Medicine
Hat, Lethbridge, Brooks,
Taber, Pincher Creek and even into the Calgary area Courts.
